Deeply Tropical

This is our Deeply Tropical moodboard – inspired by the Fantasy Jungle of Henri Rousseau and following the Tropical Trend that has been so popular this year, ‘ Deep in the Jungle’ creates a sophisticated twist – with deeply illuminated hues of green, amber and gold, against a deep, dark backdrop, to bring a touch of extravagance to the jungle.
This fabulous wallpaper by Timorous Beasties makes a great feature wall. With so much detailed artwork it could also be panelled or framed, for a more minimalist interior style.
Graham & Green and Rockett StGeorge are great places for picking up Jungle inspired accessories and I am loving this Cheese Plant wall light designed by winner of The Great Interior Design Challenge – Sarah Mitchenall.

Parlour palms and Cheese plants give a retro styling and are a great addition to this look. Real will always look best – but for those less green-fingered of you (of which I must include myself) Faux could be the way to go – as with this Potted Birds of Paradise from Rockett St George.
