Maria Helena is based in Edinburgh and her unique designs for her collection are inspired by the landscapes, colours and wildlife of her Scottish homeland.

With both of Mairi’s parents being Textile Designers, she was brought up with an appreciation of design.

She creates her novel designs using influences from her photographic portfolio of Scotland. Producing abstract designs with a unique fine art feel.  Mairi loves fusing textiles, textures and photography and her collections incorporate a variety of printing processes, including digital and hand-screen printing.  Mairi’s prints come in Luxury velvet and Linen Union.  The Collection also includes matching Cushions, Wallpaper and Lampshades.
